Rural Countryside Setting

Land here isn't scenery so much as pressure: a farmhouse, a village, a mining town becomes the arena where families fracture, corruption festers, or something monstrous closes in from the dark fields beyond the porch light. Whether it's a father searching a mining town for his son, a family barricaded against the undead, or a woman trapped by a cursed farmhouse, the isolation of these places strips characters down to what they'll fight for. Even the gentler entries—healing through horses, football, or an elephant march through the jungle—use that same remove from the city to force intimacy, reckoning, and belonging.
