A gleefully absurd buddy-cop comedy-horror hybrid that mines laughs from the collision of mundane police procedure with supernatural chaos and Japanese cultural mythology.

During the Japanese occupation of Hong Kong, the soldiers had a clubhouse, where, on V-J Day, they committed seppuku. Now it's a police station, and its inhabitants burn dolls to keep the souls at peace. However, tonight is the Ghost Festival, when ghosts are allowed one night's leave, and the Colonel has risen, turning those he bites into vampires.
