The Escape Artist
The remarkable story of an unusual boy who takes on the world...and wins.
Directed by Caleb Deschanel
Produced by American Zoetrope
A warm, playful coming-of-age story about a gifted young escape artist shaped by his vaudeville family, blending magic, mischief, and the triumph of an unusual boy against the odds.
The young and self-confident Danny bluffs at the local police-station that he will escape from prison within an hour. What follows is a flashback showing his childhood with his uncle and aunt, who are 'vaudeville'-artists themselves.
