Red Rocket
Everything's bigger in Texas.
Directed by Sean Baker
Produced by FilmNation Entertainment, Cre Film
A darkly comedic, character-driven study of narcissism and self-delusion set in small-town Texas, where an unlikeable protagonist's return home spirals into moral ambiguity and fractured relationships.
After hitting rock bottom in Los Angeles, former porn star Mikey Saber returns to his hometown in Texas to stay with his estranged wife and mother-in-law. Just as tensions begin to ease, he becomes infatuated with a young doughnut shop worker named Strawberry.
